Manager, Products

GHGSat offers greenhouse gas detection, measurement, and monitoring services to industrial and government customers around the world. We use our own satellites and aircraft sensors, combined with third-party data, to help industrial emitters better understand, control, and reduce their emissions.

GHGSat’s capability is unique: we provide high-resolution, local measurements of atmospheric methane and carbon dioxide concentration from space. This further enables to detect greenhouse gas emitters and to visualize and quantify their emissions.

We are looking for a **Manager, Products** to own the progression of GHGSat's products through their lifecycle. The **Manager, Products**, together with the VP of Measurements and Strategic Initiatives, sets the roadmap for products in sync with the whole company, establishing relationships across all teams to prioritize efforts within each group. Drawing on all parts of the organization to collect market needs, current technology status, and feedback, You will ensure that GHGSat’s products and services meet customer expectations and properly support the revenue generation objectives.

**Impact You'll Own**
- Maintain and manage the product roadmap for all of GHGSat’s product lines
- Develop and maintain a compelling product offering, including business model, pricing, and service terms
- Write clear product documentation that will anchor operations and revenue generation
- Communicate the roadmap and share its status with the rest of stakeholders
- Influence key stakeholders across our organization to align intent and prioritization
- Provide leadership on the products lines inside GHGSat and with customers
- Ensure alignment with government guidelines such as NMSO
- Lead product/feature launches including release notes, webinars, training
- Assess feasibility and support adoption of complex product features and capabilities through close collaboration with science, operations and customer facing teams
- Support the Sales team as the primary evangelist for the product lines
- Work with Marketing to develop compelling sales collateral material
- Develop and provide training to the sales team on the product lines

**What You Bring**
- Experience with or demonstrable knowledge of agile product management.
- Knowledge of the geospatial industry, Earth Observation and AI applied to satellite imagery
- Experience in managing priorities for large scale hardware and software projects.
- Ability to balance the needs of customers with company capabilities and loading
- Experience in managing backlogs from different multi-purpose teams with agile practices in mind
- Experience with geospatial mapping tools, ie. QGIS, ArcGIS, etc.
- Customer-centric mindset and experience translating customer requirements into priorities and clear direction for the Operation team
- An understanding of the fundamentals of earth observation satellite operations, including on-orbit operations and data processing
- Pragmatic marketing experience considered a plus
