As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the overall business performance (contribution margin) of the product lines. In addition, you will be in charge of the product and business strategy that will ensure the profitable growth and margin expansion of the FMS business. You will also be responsible for presenting business cases for the expansion of the company's product offering to address promising market segments.

**Your day-to-day responsibilities will include**:

- Ensures the annual product line operational plan is met, including the annual objectives for bookings, sales, and gross margins;
- Prepares, maintains, and evolves business and product plans and roadmaps for their commercial exploitation, including business cases for new product opportunities based on analysis of customer requirements, product features, competitive information and performance targets;
- Establishes bookings targets for field Sales;
- Develops product marketing plans and executes marketing activities;
- Ensures product documentation and promotion materials are current and reflect best industry practices;
- Collaborates at early stage pursuit with sales and customers on specific new opportunities;
- Reviews sales funnel with Sales team and establishment of pursuit and capture plans;
- Participates in regular reviews of Engineering staffing plans to ensure that they are well aligned to Product/Program needs to deliver according to plan;
- Collaborates with program managers and engineers on customer-funded product development and on R&D initiatives while ensuring that all program/product development activities are aligned with the overall business needs of the product line;
- Oversees obsolescence management and factory cost/efficiency improvements to ensure the long-term health of the product line.

**To excel in this role, you must hold**:

- Bachelor degree in Aeronautical, Electrical or Computer Engineering or acceptable equivalent;
- Over 8 years of experience in avionics product management in a medium to large aerospace environment;
- Member of OIQ is an asset;
- Master in Business Administration (M.B.A.) is an asset;
- In depth, hands-on knowledge and experience in product line management, system design, product development and support aspects of avionics systems;
- Good understanding of navigation systems and the avionics market;
- Demonstrated entrepreneurship in past experience;
- Strong teamwork and communication skills (oral and written) in English and French;
- Pilot, flight operations or maintenance operations are key asset;
- Ability to develop high quality reports and product-related material.
