We are seeking an Industrial Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. This is an exciting and fulfilling role that allows you to develop personally and professionally.
In this exciting role, you will directly support customers, gain experience in fabrication and distribution. You may also be assembling sales orders, picking product from the warehouse, shipping and receiving and the delivering to customers.

**Summary of the Role**
The function of the Counter Technician is to provide direct support to the Service Center operations to ensure over the counter orders are completed. This position also ensures the ongoing development of existing and prospective ERIKS, NA customers to ensure that the Service Center is able to meet its growth targets.
**Responsibilities**
- Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures
- Provides technical/service support to account management, service center management and internal and external customers
- Processes incoming inquiries to company sales system
- Successfully achieves budgeted Service Center sales goals
- Monitors on-time delivery date commitments and expedites where appropriate
- Monitors customer specific inventory for sales order fulfillment
- Makes outbound calls to potential and existing customers for new and sales growth opportunities
- Builds and maintains strong internal and external relationships
**Skills and Abilities**
- Ability to independently lift up to 50 pounds
- Possess excellent customer service skills
- Ability to interact with customers and team-members in a professional manner
- Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
- Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Requires a proficiency in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure
- Must be able to perform calculations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
- Must be able to successfully utilize the company software
**Qualifications**
- 1-3 years of experience in industrial sales
- High school diploma or GED required, college preferred
