The Inn on Officers Garden is seeking experienced, energetic and passionate Front Desk/Hostess to join our Team

We operate a small establishment with a total of 13 rooms, and we are seeking a receptionist/hostess to manage room reservations, assist with restaurant reservations, host guests, answer phones, and address general inquiries about the Inn.

Applicants should have previous experience with smart hotel reservations, excellent English communication skills, and proficiency in computer use.

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly attitude, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently, including handling reservations, payments, and special requests.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience.
- Address guest inquiries, resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and transactions using hotel management software.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms and public areas are prepared and ready for incoming guests.
- Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information or directing calls as necessary.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with safety and security regulations.
- Provide exceptional hospitality by consistently seeking opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized front desk and public spaces.
- Lead the front door area to ensure prompt, friendly greetings, and seating of each guest, especially in the restaurant area.
- Be a part of welcoming and training new team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Support your team in any capacity needed to ensure smooth operations and a high standard of service.
- Handle guest feedback with professionalism, striving to improve guest satisfaction and resolve concerns effectively.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role or upscale hospitality environment preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on communication, interpersonal abilities, and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with front desk operations, phone systems, and hotel management software is advantageous.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to customer care are essential for success in this role.
