**About the Role**

This is a cross-functional role that supports both the Communications and Events portfolios and reports to the Director of Communications and Marketing. You’ll bring our member-first philosophy to life through engaging content, consistent storytelling, and meaningful event experiences.

You’ll wear many hats—from running our social media channels to helping execute conferences. This hands-on role is perfect for someone creative, organised, and keen to make an impact.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Communications & Marketing**
- Develop and distribute weekly e-newsletters and member updates
- Assist with podcast production and media events
- Support the development of communication materials and member benefit communications
- Ensure brand consistency across all communications

**Social Media**
- Manage daily social media activity across platforms
- Implement ACCA’s social media strategy and track analytics
- Create reports to evaluate and optimise engagement

**Events & Conferences**
- Collaborate on event marketing strategies and materials
- Design signage, presentations, and sponsor collateral
- Populate and manage Eventbrite pages, monitor registrations
- Coordinate event logistics and liaise with vendors and sponsors
- Provide onsite event support including setup and teardown
- Draft event scripts and speaker materials

**What We’re Looking For**

**Education & Experience**
- Diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field
- Previous experience in communications and/or events—experience in healthcare or non-profits is an asset

**Skills & Attributes**
- Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Campaigner, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, and Eventbrite
- Working knowledge of Salesforce and Jotform is a bonus
- Creative eye for design and a keen attention to detail
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Adaptable, team-oriented, and able to thrive in a hybrid work environment
- Available for occasional travel and flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
