Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and marketing our monthly event for real estate investors. You will work with the marketing team and event organizers to ensure the success of each event. This is a hybrid remote position that will be coordinating with people in Edmonton and Vancouver throughout the marketing process and in person the day of the event (the evening of the last Wednesday of each month).
Key Skills and Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in Canva or Adobe for creating visually appealing marketing materials and event collateral.
- Experience with Facebook Ads to drive targeted traffic and increase event registrations.
- Familiarity with Eventbrite to manage event registrations, ticket sales, and attendee communication.
- Proficient in Zoom for organizing and hosting virtual events, including webinars and networking sessions.
- Knowledge of Facebook, Meetup, and LinkedIn to promote the event, engage with the real estate investor community, and expand our reach.
- Ability to edit provided presentations using PowerPoint to deliver cohesive content during the event.
- Experience with QR Generator to create custom QR codes for event materials and promotions.
- Proficiency in basic video editing tools to have recordings edited for Youtube uploading
- Familiarity with Excel for managing event data, tracking registrations, and generating reports.
- Knowledge of kvCORE (Kunversion+) not required but an asset
- Understanding of YouTube for uploading and promoting event videos.
- Coordinating with guest speakers and presenters to organize the event.
- Management of documents in Sharepoint
- Organizing volunteers in person
- Management of sound tech, day of the event.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in event planning and marketing, preferably within the real estate industry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative while also being a collaborative team player.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends to accommodate event schedules.
- Tech-savvy with a strong understanding of various online platforms and tools mentioned above
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week
**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
