Talon Industries Inc is Multi-Trade construction firm seeking a Business Development representitive to help continue it's growth.

The Business Development and Sales position will be stage in Port Perry and with expected travels throughout the GTA. The primary focus is supporting the overall business development and growth initiatives of the orginaization.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Develop strategies to expand services in new and existing sectors.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with internal/external customers and work with customers to determine product/solutions requirements.
- Set up meetings/calls with qualified prospects for Account Executives.
- Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients (Mechanical and Electrical Knowledge a must)Setting goals for the business development team.
- Attending conferences and industry events.

**EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS**
- Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related discipline

**WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum -5-10 years of sales experience in the construction field
- Experience with sales proposals, financials and project development
- Strong leadership, management, marketing, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Advanced knowledge and understanding of:

- Fully versed in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, linked worksheets, etc).
- Basic in Microsoft Project (e.g. Able to build simple work breakdown structures)
- Time management and organizational skills
- Willing and able to travel for business development activities
- Valid Ontario Driver's License

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $60,000.00-$95,000.00 per year

**Benefits**:
