Greet patients, obtain pertinent information, check-in patients
- Schedule and confirm appointment, follow up on no-shows
- Establish rapport with patients quickly
- Answer incoming calls and make calls to multidisciplinary medical professionals
- Process incoming mail, faxes, and laboratory results
- Process outgoing referrals and follow up on its status
- Foster a collaborative working environment
- Adapt well to different roles and duties, as needed
- Keep the reception area and the clinic neat and organised
- Keep inventory of supplies and reorder as needed

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of office procedures
- Experience working with OSCAR EMR Software system is an asset
- Familiarity with Excel, Word Perfect
- Be flexible and have ability to react to changing demands
- Ability to follow confidentiality guidelines
- Good time management, prioritization, multitasking and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure dealing with difficult situations
- Ability to service vulnerable and diverse ethno-cultural background population's needs
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Flexible availability

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Medical office: 2 years (preferred)
