We are currently seeking an experienced **Accounts Receivable Collections Specialist** to join our growing team in our Dartmouth Head Office. This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.

**Details**:

- Monitor and maintain up to date records for client accounts and review accounts in arrears to ensure appropriate actions are taken.
- Update and record notes based on agreed payment terms.
- Reconcile customer accounts, monitor, and allocate unapplied cash, investigate charge backs, and short payments.
- Professionally handle customer inquiries, including providing detailed customer reconciliation and statements as required, resolving payment disputes and processing payments and refunds.
- Provide support to accounts receivable team with routine tasks and assist in projects to support accounting function as required.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Business Administration (Accounting Concentration) or similar post-secondary training.
- Minimum of 3 years full cycle Accounts Receivable experience, including collection calling.
- Detail orientated with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent customer service, time management, organization, and analytical skills.
- Experience with computerized accounting systems required (SXe preferred), and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-orientated environment.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is not required but would be considered an asset.
