**Why This Role?**

**Core Duties and Responsibilities**

As a Credit Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

- Extracting and analyzing data from financial institution systems for communication with borrowers;
- Preparing correspondence with borrowers and/or communicating with team members to confirm next steps;
- Managing borrower and file related deadlines, prioritizing files based on rate of recovery;
- Reviewing due diligence related to recovery/enforcement of debt;
- Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of file information for clients; and,
- Coordinating all reporting requirements for clients and lawyers;
**Qualifications and Skills**

To be successful, you possess the following qualifications and skills:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
- Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset;
- Previous experience working in customer service;
- Proven ability to think critically, problem solve, and make sound judgement calls;
- Experience working in debt recovery considered a significant asset;
- Exceptional attention to detail;
- Strong ability to manage your time and demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities in deadline driven work environment;
- Ability to achieve financial and other specified targets;
