**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Scheduling and overseeing all general maintenance-related work by managing a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors
- Ensuring the facility satisfies all industry, environmental and safety regulations
- Managing budgets
- Forecasting and ordering (managing) spare parts inventory
- Further developing and implementing our (proactive) maintenance strategy
- Coordinating the completion of complex repairs
- Hiring subcontractors for specialized maintenance work and signing off on maintenance contracts
- Looking for new ways/tools/assets to improve productivity and cut costs
- Drafting maintenance reports
- Responsible for ensuring/increasing the capability of all manufacturing work centers within the plant.
- Ensures the department follows the annual business plan.12. Implements cost-saving initiatives including energy utilization and reduction.
- Responsible for environmentally safe waste management systems and procedures.
- Responsible for maintaining exhaust, HVAC systems and achieving CO2 emission targets.
- Responsible for the hiring/termination, training, evaluation and discipline of all staff within the department.
- Proper use of electronic data collection equipment.
- Performs all duties within the 5S standards.
- Following and performing the instructions as listed in the Work Area Reference Manual(s) applicable to the department.
- Compliance to all company policies and procedures.
- Ensuring that all maintenance operations are done in accordance with company policy and the governmental/federal guidelines
- Responsible for working safely, complying with safety policies and procedures, and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) required in the designated areas as per company policy.
- Responsible for working safely and keeping a safe work area for themselves and fellow employees.
- Manages the work performed and work area to comply with all safety requirements for all staff. Manages and coordinates the corrective measures for all unsafe work conditions and personal injuries for all staff.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Engineering degree in the field of electrical engineering (preferred), mechanical engineering, process engineering, or process technology or comparable qualification.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $95,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
