Overview

You will be the hands-on individual responsible for defining supply requirements through to distribution by planning, analyzing information and data while working closely with
Senior Management, Sales, Suppliers, Finance, and Operations. You will be responsible for the movement of both incoming and outgoing product. You will control and execute inventory management, purchasing and product movement from start to finish. This is definitely a hands-on position.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify, develop, manage, and implement strategic internal and external business relationships to enable implementation of the corporate growth strategy, cost savings, and development initiatives.
- Prepare incoming vendor freight orders for pickup including all associated paperwork necessary within established ETAs given
- Review of backorder reports to ensure all orders are actioned accordingly
- Review of inventory reports weekly and auctioning all reorder level requirements
- Maintain a safe clean environment by keeping all racks and shelves, pallet areas and workstations neat and properly stacked while complying with health and safety requirements
- Manage all cross-border customs paperwork requirements with customs broker
- Manage returns process appropriately
- Receiving of all inventory into accounting system within ETA established
- Develop, research, advocate, and execute sourcing and negotiation strategies that are aligned with corporate objectives and goals.
- Collaborate with operational and functional leadership to establish short term and long term purchasing, inventory and logistics activities and objectives.
- Identify cost saving opportunities across all areas of responsibility.
- Maintain documents, files and records for the purpose of providing up-to-date reference and audit trail
- Lead continuous improvement of processes to ongoing effectiveness and efficiency for inventory Forecasting and Planning, including the development and

execution of analyses to advance inventory management strategies, policies and procedures.
- Help drive profitable growth through strategic management of inventory.
- Responsible for achieving inventory turns, cycle-count audits, fill rates, quality control, and inventory replenishment.
- Interact, influence, and maintain strong communications with suppliers and internal stakeholders in order to identify and implement strategic inventory control management strategies.
- Produce reports and communicate results to internal stakeholders including senior management and the Finance department.
- Develop, validate, and analyze demand forecasts and replenishment forecasts including the review of backorders and ETA dates
- Support efficient logistics including tracking and expediting shipments.
- Resolve receiving discrepancies, invoice discrepancies, and supplier issues.
- Maintain positive work relationships with other team members.
- Willingness to help our shipper when necessary
- Other functions as directed by COO

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in inventory and purchasing in a multi-location retail, warehouse, manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Must be extremely detail oriented and able to multi-task
- Excellent reconciliation skills and problem solving skills.
- Degree in Business, Finance, or related area preferred.
- Professional designation preferred.
- Process improvement experience highly desirable.
- Experience working with a finance team, including inventory costing and cost accounting.
- Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office and superior expertise with Excel.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
- Management and strategic leadership skills.
- Knowledge of the HVAC industry is preferred.
- Must be able to work independently as well as work with others

Must be able to communicate both in written and verbal capacities to ensure proper information is both received and given as required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
