Inventory Control Clerk

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**General**:
- Perform manufacturing duties and other related tasks as assigned by the Production Manager.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following procedures, rules, and safety regulations.
- Adhere to occupational health and safety standards.
**Receiving/Inventory Control**:
- Receive deliveries of supplies, materials, and equipment, verifying accuracy against purchase orders.
- Complete necessary paperwork for stock items received and restock items as necessary.
- Record and maintain inventory records; reconcile stock count with computer-generated reports.
- Monitor inventory levels, process orders, and track inventory issues.
- Assist with daily/weekly cycle counts and complete physical inventory counts.
- Process and document returns (RMA) as required.
- Organize and maintain warehouse for efficient material storage and handling.
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to handle materials as required.
**Production Related**:
- Prepare work by reviewing work order travelers (WOT) and gathering parts for production orders.
- Kit, pick, and release parts as per WOT list and organize parts in production bins.
- Restock unused parts to inventory.
**Shipping Spare Parts**:
- Verify and prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring items match the shipping records.
- Determine the appropriate shipping method and affix shipping labels.
- Prepare containers, insert protective materials, and ensure secure packaging.
- Operate tier-lift trucks or hand trucks to move shipments.
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
**Purchasing**:
- Ensure stock levels of shop supply items are adequate for daily production requirements.
- Procure necessary supplies for projects and assist with purchasing tasks.
- Provide backup support to the purchasing team when needed.
**Other**:
- Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently.
- Document actions, errors, and production issues.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, inventory control, or shipping is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack).
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and guidelines.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
