- **Position Overview**_

The Inventory specialist can expect to work closely with management, collaborate with multiple teams, develop and improve existing procedures and policies, prevent losses, and occasionally do some heavy lifting. Performing cycle counts, ensuring accuracy of inventory records, analyzing price and cost reports along with other inventory duties are to be expected in the role.

**Job Type: Full Time**
- **Duties and Responsibilities**:_
- Maintain and update inventory records.
- Develop and implement efficient inventory management procedures.
- Implement a loss prevention program, track all missing products.
- Implement a program for damages, overages and repackaging and enforce throughout Inventory team
- Report any stock issues to management and place product orders as necessary.
- Prepare a list of depleted and unusable products.
- Monitor all cycle count programs and ensure consistency and accuracy in same and identify all operational problems in inventory.
- Maintain record of all variances according to established procedures and ensure accuracy of all product transfers from one facility to another.
- Prepare and update all required paperwork for vendor products and ensure accuracy in all inventories and resolve any issues in same.
- Train employees and staff in all inventory control processes according to manual and update process if required.
- Communicate daily with Warehouse Manager and make recommendations to same if required.
- Monitor all inventory control processes and documents all procedures to maintain all equipment and tools.
- Help to manage all inventory transaction and provide required feedback to team as required.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies through inventory cycle count process.
- Plan inventory schedule for inventory team.
- Collaborate with all departments to adjust and restock all inventory discrepancies
- Attend all scheduled meetings.

- **Job Specifications (Knowledge, skills and abilities)**:_
- 3+ years of experience in Contract Logistics / 3PL / Distribution Centre / Warehouse environment.
- Valid Forklift License from an accredited source
- 3+ years’ experience in warehouse management and inventory control
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong mathematical skills with a proven ability to problem solve
- Ability to work both independently and lead a team
- Direct experience with distribution centre processes required (receiving, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and value-added processing).

A diploma or degree in the field of logistics or supply chain management is a preference

Preference given to those with Warehousing, 3PL and inventory management experience
