The Manager of Human Resources, Health & Safety delivers advice and results for the achievement of Robertson Walls & Ceilings strategic growth, culture, and ongoing operations.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Company HR, H&S functions
- Lead HR and H&S teams
- Execute HR, H&S Senior level activities
- Recruitment and selection policies, practices and procedures. Direct involvement in recruitment and selection of certain roles in collaboration with hiring leader
- Skills, Training, and Development programs, polices, practices and procedures. Deliver certain HR, H&S materials directly
- Employee relations policies, practices and procedures. Direct involvement in advising
- Performance Management programs, polices, procedures. Overall ongoing review of draft performance management reviews to guide leaders to effective reviews and related meetings of leaders and their employees. Direct involvement in coaching and ensuring appropriate investigations, documentation and communication of progressive discipline and occasional direct involvement when necessary
- Change and growth management in collaboration with Family Stakeholders
- Maintain Professional HR designation in accordance with CPHR
- H&S Department: Working with the Company Safety Officers and our policies, programs, procedures to address risks and losses. Ensure compliance as well as continuous improvement to the success of the Company’s H&S program. Ensure that all H&S policies, programs and procedures always comply with applicable laws and regulations and that changes are made and communicated. Monitor H&S training and supply budgets. Manage Workers Comp claims. Manage on-site training with Project Managers and H&S Coordinator
- Administer COR Program Audit
- Other duties, as required

**Skills/Attributes Required**:Practical and strategic HR plus H&S experience, enabled by excellent oral and written communication skills. People-centric, operationally focused, and flexible. Good planning, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills. Confidentiality, tact, and discretion balanced with the ability to candidly engage when providing advice and support when speaking with multiple employees and/or leaders. Able to take the initiative and work independently while balancing with collaborating with others. Works well under pressure and tight deadlines associated with a growing, privately held, 40+ year family-originated and operated business.

**Education and Experience**:

- 10 years of HR and H&S experience combined
- Preferred to have a bachelors degree (BA)
- CPHR Designation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
