**About Us**

Cardio Drumming is an exciting rhythm and movement program bringing interactive, high-energy drumming workshops to schools, camps, and communities across Southern Ontario. We use music and movement to create joyful, inclusive experiences for people of all ages — especially kids.

We're looking for a **creative, organized Social Media Manager** to help us curate and boost our online social media presence and lay the foundation for a strong year-round content strategy.

**What You’ll Do**
- Work with our designer to **plan, schedule, and publish** content to Instagram and Facebook
- Help plan and build a **3-6 month content calendar** and roadmap for the next 6 months
- Write and edit **engaging captions** and suggest hashtags, trends, and reels ideas
- Track engagement and adjust strategy based on analytics
- Develop a system for **repurposing content** (e.g., turning testimonials into posts)
- Occasionally engage with followers and monitor DMs/comments
- Stay aligned with our brand voice: fun, inclusive, rhythmic, and community-driven

**Requirements**:

- Strong familiarity with Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok and how to post on each effectively
- Creative writing and/or visual storytelling skills
- Organized and self-directed — able to manage your own time and tasks
- Basic understanding of social media strategy, scheduling tools, and analytics
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Available to work part-time hours (15/week) over 8 weeks

**Eligibility** (Government Grant Requirement)

This position is funded through a youth employment grant. To be eligible, applicants must:

- Be between **18 and 30 years old** at the start of employment
- Be a **Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or refugee**:

- Be legally entitled to work in Canada

**Nice to Have**
- Experience with Later, Meta Business Suite, Canva, or similar tools
- Experience working with youth-oriented programs, camps, or fitness brands
- Interest in music, education, or community-based programming
