**Receptionist and Veterinary Assistant Required**

Do you have a passion for animals?

We are currently looking for a person to fill the role of receptionist and veterinary assistant. Phoenix Rising Integrative Veterinary Care is a fast-growing integrative veterinary clinic, located in North Vancouver, which thrives off providing the best holistic care possible for our clients and their furry children.

The receptionist is responsible for ensuring that front desk operations run smoothly, and acts as the primary greeter when a client enters the waiting room with their pet, alerts the appropriate technician or veterinarian of the client’s arrival, and processes the client’s payment at the conclusion of the appointment.

Good computer skills required: We're a paperless clinic.

**About You**:
You are a people person who can answer the phone and assist clients with questions and concerns. You are well-spoken, polite and able to lend a hand whenever needed. You are comfortable with and love dogs as well as cats. Punctuality is a must. You are an efficient multi-tasker.

**About the Position**:

- Provide customer service such as greet customers, answer questions, process incoming patients, and handle payments.
- Answer phone calls, which may involve answering questions and screening and scheduling appointments.
- Update and file patient charts.
- Enter data into a computerized billing program.
- Process credit card payments and prepare bank deposits.
- Retrieve prescriptions.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the exam rooms.

Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. 8AM to 4PM

Must be a Canadian Citizen or have PR status.
