If you support our vision - try yourself and join our team We are looking for an accounting manager to oversee our financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will be responsible for managing the accounting team, preparing and analyzing financial reports, maintaining internal controls, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. As an accounting manager, you will also play a key role in developing and implementing financial strategies, policies, and procedures to support our business goals and growth. You will collaborate with senior management, external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and guidance. **Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**: - Supervise and mentor a team of accountants and analysts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis. - Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports, in accordance with GAAP and IFRS. - Coordinate and oversee the external audit process, ensuring compliance with audit requirements and resolving any issues or discrepancies. - Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure the integrity and reliability of financial data and transactions. - Analyze and monitor financial performance, trends, and variances, and provide recommendations to senior management on financial strategies and decisions. - Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditures, and optimize the use of financial resources. - Prepare and file tax returns and reports and liaise with tax authorities and consultants on tax matters. - Support the development and implementation of financial systems, processes, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness. - Research and evaluate accounting standards, regulations, and best practices, and ensure compliance and alignment with internal and external stakeholders. - Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by executive management. **You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications and skills**: - A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred - At least 10 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or supervisory role - Experience in multi-channel retail or e-commerce industry is a plus - Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting standards and principles - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing accounting team - Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, auditors, and other stakeholders - Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality - Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines **Benefits**: - Competitive Salary: $90,000 to $115,000 per year - Casual Dress - Store Discount - Extended Health Benefits - Being surrounded by people and products you **_love_** - Mind Games is an equal opportunity employer and will not discriminate against any applicant for employment regarding any protected characteristic under local law.
