**Job Overview**
**Duties**
- Coordinate the transportation of goods using various modes of transportation from Canadian Blast Freezers to our customers oversees
- Communicate with suppliers, manufacturers, and customers to resolve any issues related to shipments
- Prepare and manage shipping documents including, bills of lading, export documents etc to support each shipment
- Track and trace shipments throughout the shipment process
- Ability to negotiate rates and provide accurate costing
- Provide professional customer service and assist in resolving any inquiries
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards related to logistics
- Adhere to customs and agricultural clearance requirements
**Requirements**:
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented with excellent time management skills and proven ability to prioritize
- Be flexible, ability to manage change in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Bachelor degree / College Diploma / 1-2 years experience in a logistics position or freight forwarding experience is an asset
- Clear and concise English communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Take initiative and stay driven to consistently grow and improve as a Logistics Coordinator
- Excellent negotiation and analytical skills
- Must have the interpersonal skills to build relationships and maximize efficiencies across the organization
- Knowledge of meat products/perishable cargo would be an asset
- Fluent in Japanese an asset
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
