**Job Summary** **Salary: $22.89 /hour plus $3.00 per hour Government Wage Enhancement** **Must have a full G Driver's License** **Must have Supervisory Experience** **Must have experience and an educational background in the Social Services field** The Residential Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operation of one Pioneer Youth Service's residential homes. We serve youth 12-18 with developmental and/or behavioural needs. Experience working with youth preferred. **Responsibilities and Duties** - ensure that the social, emotional and physical needs of all residents are met and all residential staff have an awareness of individual needs - Assist in hiring, orienting, disciplining and ongoing training of all staff - keep informed of and adhere to all new and revised relevant rules and legislation and PYS' Policies and Procedures and assure their implementation and adherence - assume responsibility for medication orders, medication safe-keeping and sufficient supply - initiate, complete and ensure regular fire drills, fire safety checks and maintenance of First Aid Kits - familiarize with residents' programs to ensure their positive impact for the overall programming - assist in all licensing issues - participate in rotation of "on call" duties - delegate, monitor, and ensure that interior and exterior house maintenance (ie: Lawn, garden, snow/garbage removal, etc.) is completed - ensure ongoing high standard of cleanliness and decor within the residence - Position requires some evening & weekend availability **Qualifications and Skills** College or University in a social services related discipline. **Benefits** This is a one year contract (40 hours per week) with the **potential to be a full time position with benefits upon successful completion of probation.** **Position requires working two to four weekend shifts per month & also sharing on call with other supervisors.** **Must have a full G license & be vaccinated for COVID.** **Job Types**: Full-time, Contract **Salary**: $22.89 /hour plus $3.00 per from the Wage Enhancement Program. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From $47,611.00 per year Additional pay: - Bonus pay - Overtime pay **Benefits**: - Casual dress - Dental care - Discounted or free food - Extended health care - Vision care Schedule: - Monday to Friday - On call - Weekends as needed **Experience**: - Youth Work/Supervisory: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: - G Driver License (required) Work Location: In person
