**Overview**
This Role is a Unionized position with Move Up Local 378.
This position is currently starting off as Part Time Position where the successful incumbent will work 2 Days per week, there are opportunities in the interim for additional Days to cover Sick Time, Vacation and Workloads.
In early 2026 our office will be relocating from New Westminster to Burnaby (Norland Ave. and Sprott St. Area - Near Hwy # 1)
**Responsibilities**
- Manage Reception desk operations, including greeting visitors and answering multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide clerical support such as filing, typing, proofreading documents, and maintaining organized office files.
- Assist with customer service inquiries and provide support to clients via phone and in-person interactions.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations and assist with administrative tasks as needed.
- Utilize Google Workspace for document management and communication within the team.
- Support bookkeeping activities as required, ensuring financial records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, particularly in a medical or dental office setting.
**Experience**
- Previous office experience is preferred, with a focus on administrative roles in a medical or dental environment being highly desirable.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks for financial record management is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent typing skills and attention to detail for accurate data entry and document proofreading.
- Demonstrated customer service experience with effective phone etiquette and interpersonal communication skills.

Pay: $32.57-$33.55 per hour
