**Location**: Truro, NS
**Reports to**: HR Manager
**Contract Duration**: 6 months

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Collaborate**: Partner with hiring managers and HR to understand hiring needs and develop effective strategies.
- ** Network**: Build connections with professional groups, communities, and organizations to expand our talent pool.
- ** Advise**: Provide guidance to hiring managers to help them make informed hiring decisions.
- ** Onboard**: Assist with onboarding new hires, ensuring a smooth orientation process.
- ** Support**: Take on other duties as assigned to support the HR team.

**What We're Looking For**:

- ** Education**: Undergraduate degree or certificate in HR Management or Business Administration preferred.
- ** Experience**: Proven success as a recruiter with hands-on experience in the entire recruitment life cycle.
- ** Industry Knowledge**: Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- ** Flexibility**: Ability to adapt and manage multiple priorities in a large organization.
- ** Integrity & Energy**: High standards of integrity, energy, and self-motivation.
- ** Enthusiasm**: A positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- ** Team Player**: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- ** Communication Skills**: Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- ** Tech Savvy**: Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.

**What We Offer**:

- ** Competitive Pay**: $25/hr
- ** Convenient Commute**: Low commute times from Stewiacke, Belmont, Salmon River, Millbrook, Truro/Truro Heights, Hilden, and Brookfield.
- ** Weekly Pay**: Get paid every week
- ** Day Shift**: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- ** Contract**: 6-month contract with the potential for future opportunities.
