We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of HR functions and will play a key role in supporting our employees and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. You will be responsible for human resource activities such as employment, training, compensation, benefits, and labour relations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with the management team to plan and execute recruitment and onboarding strategies.
- Participate in the recruitment process, coordinating internal and external ads, both domestically and internationally.
- Help organize and participate in local job fairs.
- Be a management resource, as well as conduct interviews.
- Manage and conduct employee training and orientation programs.
- Maximize existing resources to ensure communication of information to all employees.
- Investigate benefit claims and grievances.
- Participate in employee career development.
- Investigate and resolve day-to-day employee relations problems, either directly or through advice to management.
- Conduct routine salary and wage administration tasks, providing advice to managers and Dealer-Owner(s) on wage and salaries for all employees.
- Direct the adaptation of policies, plans and programs to meet accepted objectives.
- Suggest rule or policy changes to management when such changes would improve efficiency, morale, operations, profits, sales, etc.
- Maintain and update job requirements and job descriptions for all company positions.
- Maintain professional confidentiality of all company and customer records.
- Work on additional duties and assignments as assigned by management.
- Work in a safe manner in accordance with provincial and federal safety legislation. Report any potential hazards and unsafe behavior to management in order to have the situation corrected.

- Knowledge and experience in employment best practices, compensation, organizational planning, recruitment, organizational development, employment relations, and safety.

- Good team building skills with exceptional communication and motivational skills.
- Ability to work co-operatively in a team environment.
