**Position Description**
- A general understanding of the Logistics and Transportation Industry.
- Strong presentation skills and the drive to achieve sales goals.
- A strong mastery of the core sales skills including Closing Skills, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, and Networking.

The main tasks associated with this position include:

- Manage, develop and maintain client relationships by developing effective ways to transport customers’ freight.
- Working in unison with the Operations Team to meet customers’ needs.
- Building and maintaining customer relationships, assessing client specific needs, promoting and selling LSI services, and maintaining sales goals and objectives.
- Actively lead and participate in multidisciplinary teams preparing RFP, Bid and Proposal documents.
- Various tasks relating to dispatch to ensure drivers are able to satisfy the requirements of clients.
- Work closely with the Sales Director to develop territorial sales strategies, pricing, on-boarding customers and managing the overall customer relationship.
- Update and maintain TMS Software.
- Work closely with the Marketing Team to ensure the effective focus upon target customers.
- Cold calling within geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Prepare customer quotations and presentations.
- Provide monthly reporting, projections and targets to Director of Sales.
- Develop proposals in accordance to clients needs and expectations.
- Manage and evaluate optimum routes and route profitability.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets

**Qualifications**
- Experience_**: This individual must have at least 3 years of sales experience and ideally at least 1 year experience within the Transportation Industry.
- Education_**: Highschool diploma is required. A college degree within a business discipline or relevant field will be considered an asset.
- Skills_**:

- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Extremely organized and detail oriented.
- Must possess a strong work ethic.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a sales team.
- Solid negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Self-Motivated, ambitious and results driven.

This is an In Person position with the requirement to participate in the companywide Zoom meeting throughout each shift.

Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay

**Experience**:

- Sales: 3 years (required)
