Sales Development Representative

**About the Role**
We are looking for our first Sales Development Representative at Nomic Bio. You will be working closely with our co-founders and our Application Scientists to expand our user base and deliver our technology to researchers and drug development scientists.
**What you will be doing**
- Enable scientists to extend lives by delivering our high-throughput protein profiling platform and expanding our customer base.
- Research, identify, and reach out to research groups that can leverage the nELISA.
- Qualify inbound leads and introduce our technology and offerings.
- Understand the users’ situation, needs, and decision-making process.
- Maintain lead/prospect contact information and notes in CRM to manage sales prospecting and track activities.
- Attend conferences and generate and qualify leads.
- Nurture leads and opportunities where potential users expressed interest but were not ready to purchase at the time of initial contact.
- Contribute to developing sales materials, playbooks and processes.
**What we’re looking for**:
- STEM bachelor's or master's degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in Sales or a Customer-facing role.
- Strong time-management skills including the ability to effectively multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Be a curious individual with effective questioning and listening.
- You have a sense of urgency to get things done to enable scientists and extend lives; are driven to deliver and constantly push the boundaries; can-do attitude; determination and high expectations of yourself.
