**Strategy and Development**:
- Assist in developing and executing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the business strategy.
- Help develop recruitment policies ensuring equal opportunity employment.
**Recruitment and Selection**:
- Support the recruitment and selection process, contributing to enhancing employee morale.
**Employee Relations and Performance**:
- Support the management of employee relations, including aiding in conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations. Assist in preparing termination and severance letters.
- Help implement employee policies to promote positive relations and manage performance issues.
- Assist in overseeing the staff review process.
**Legal Compliance and Documentation**:
- Assist in ensuring legal compliance and maintaining HR records, including updating relevant legal documents.
- Support understanding and compliance with laws and regulations regarding hiring, firing, and employment.
**Training and Development**:
- Help manage training and employee development programs.
- Assist in developing and managing staff orientation tools.
**Budgeting and Metrics**:
- Support HR budgeting and metrics processes.
- Help develop reports for data management and analysis.
**Organizational Development**:
- Assist with staffing and organizational development initiatives.
- Support negotiations of collective agreements and the management of job classifications and salary brackets.
- Help review and improve employee programs.
**Communication and Reporting**:
- Assist in reporting to senior management on personnel activities.
- Support maintaining excellent communication within the HR department.
**Skills and Expertise**:
- Gain proficiency in HR policies, procedures, and the hiring process.
- Develop an understanding of HR best practices, conflict management, and decision-making.
- Cultivate strong judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Become proficient in MS Office and Google Docs.
**Educational Background**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
**Professional Experience**:
- Experience in an HR role or similar is beneficial, demonstrating a developing track record in supporting HR practices.
**Knowledge and Expertise**:
- Developing understanding of labor laws and HR practices.
**Core Skills and Abilities**:
- Developing exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Strengthen negotiation skills and the ability to multitask efficiently.
**Professional Traits**:
- Attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong devotion to ethics.
- A hands-on approach to teamwork and problem-solving.
**Certifications**:
- Pursuing SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.
- Experience with ADP is beneficial.
**Salary**: $39,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
