About the Role
Castillo HR Consulting Inc. is looking for a motivated HR Generalist to join our growing team. This is a full-time, permanent hybrid position based in the Lower Mainland region. The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to client sites (1–2 times per week).
The successful candidate will support a range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and policy administration. You'll play a key role in ensuring consistent HR practices and supporting clients with day to day HR operations.
What You Will Be Doing
- Provide HR support to employees and managers across multiple clients
- Assist with recruitment activities, onboarding, and employee documentation
- Maintain HR files and ensure compliance with employment legislation
- Support employee relations by responding to inquiries and concerns
- Assist in performance review processes and policy updates
- Coordinate training sessions and support internal HR projects
- Prepare HR reports and assist with data tracking and metrics
- Promote a positive and inclusive work culture across client sites
- Assist the Payroll Specialist in ensuring payroll accuracy and timely processing
- Support benefit administration, enrollments, and tracking eligibility
What You Will Bring
- Minimum 2–3 years of HR experience, ideally in a consulting or multi client environment
- Working knowledge of the BC Employment Standards Act (ESA) and related legislation
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or a related field required
- CHRP designation (or working toward it) preferred
- Understanding of basic payroll processes and data accuracy requirements
Salary:
Offering up to $55K per year
