**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients for meals, including chopping, slicing, and measuring.
- Help cook and assemble dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to management.
- Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning duties at the end of shifts.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment or food service industry is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Be legally authorized to work in Canada for the duration of your employment, we do not sponsor.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual

Pay: $15.00-$21.27 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
