Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating proteins, and measuring spices.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper storage of food items.
  • Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of meals served.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
  • Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning duties at the end of shifts.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
