**In the role, you will be responsible for assisting the manufacturing department with project scheduling, execution, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system maintenance (MS Navision) documentation corrections and tracking, and general administration.**

**Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities**:

- Monitors performance of production employees and enters daily production in ERP system. Closes completed work orders and enters data in ERP.
- Gathers schedule information, updates, analyzes, and prepares production reports. Integrates/combines various schedules to predict departmental capacity and resources loading.
- Maintains accurate production data by adding new items and correcting existing items. Gathers production data needed for new and existing items to fill in data gaps.
- Assists in Bill of Materials (BOM) & routes creations and corrections. Identifies, investigates, corrects, and documents potential production BOM problems.
- Assists manager in coordinating and maintaining a production schedule. Produces production reports and prepares daily presentations.
- Assists with the requisition and the shipping/receiving of materials and supplies for the manufacturing plant. Assists with the Request for Quotes (RFQ) estimating and quoting, and the set up of machines and equipment.
- Trains workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Nature and Scope**:

- Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices, or instruction. Seeks advice and guidance on non-routine or problem areas from supervisor. Deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor.
- Under close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment. Work typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a senior coworker and/or supervisor.
- None.

**Work Environment**:

- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
- Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that may be heavy (50+ pounds) or awkward.
- No travel required.

**Education and Experience**:

- HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.
- Knowledge of basic manufacturing plant operations.
