**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Oversee the implementation and verification of SQF, HACCP, GMP, and other food safety programs, ensuring compliance with allergen control, traceability, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Coordinate and support QA Technicians in performing quality control checks throughout production, reviewing and validating test results, monitoring trends, and addressing non-conformances.
- Inspect raw materials and packaging materials to ensure they meet required quality standards.
- Maintain accurate QA documentation, including batch records, COAs, complaints, and label reviews, ensuring all records are audit-ready.
- Verify packaging labels for accuracy, compliance, and traceability.
- Investigate customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams during trials and product launches, promoting a strong food safety culture and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor pest control and sanitation programs, coordinating with contractors and internal teams to ensure preventive measures are upheld.
- Support staff training on workplace health, hygiene, and wellness practices.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years’ QA experience in food manufacturing (bakery experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of SQF, HACCP, GMPs, allergen management, and audit processes.
- Familiarity with production processes, quality systems, and labeling requirements.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QA reporting systems.

**Job Details**
- **Job Type**: Full-time
- **Salary**: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
- **Schedule**: Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed
- **Work Location**: On-site
