**Position Overview**

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator with a strong background in the mechanical and welding industries, ideally with industrial experience. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of welding and mechanical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Project Management**: Oversee all stages of mechanical and welding projects from initiation to completion.
- **Scheduling and Planning**: Develop detailed project schedules, track progress, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- **Client Liaison**: Serve as the main point of contact between clients, subcontractors, and the internal team.
- **Resource Management**: Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure smooth project execution.
- **Budgeting and Cost Control**: Monitor project costs and manage budgets to prevent overruns.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of project progress, including reports and correspondence.
- **Health & Safety**: Ensure that all projects comply with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- **Problem-Solving**: Address project challenges and find effective solutions to keep projects on track.

**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: Minimum of 10 years in the mechanical and welding industry, with a preference for industrial project experience.
- **Education**: Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- **Project Coordination Skills**: Strong background in managing and coordinating complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- **Leadership**: Proven ability to lead and manage teams.
- **Technical Knowledge**: Strong understanding of welding and mechanical processes, with hands-on experience.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- **Software**: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.).
- **Problem-Solving**: Analytical mindset with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
