Lively, Canada Flying Post Camp and Logistics Full time

Flying Post Camp and Logistics (FPCL) has become well known in the Sudbury and Timmins area. FPCL's primary focus is on construction for remote workforce housing and modular accommodations, along with site services in the remote work camp industry.

We are currently seeking an **Project Controls Lead **to join our team.

**Location: Lively, ON**

Work Schedule**:Monday to Friday**

**Job Type**:Full-time

**Responsibilities**
- Assume a leadership role in the successful delivery of projects/ contracts.
- Act as the lead for cost control, change management, procurement, budgeting and resourcing activities
- Develop, track, and update cost and forecasts
- Oversee and update the tracking process for labour hours, materials, and equipment usage daily.
- Support the preparation of project related reporting
- Having a clear understanding of work sequencing on site and the various construction activities
- Having a clear ability to review and interpret drawings and specifications.
- Assist in project planning, monitoring, coordination, and schedule updates.
- Communicate project updates with senior management and the project team.
- Ensure policies and procedures are being adhered to.
- Provide technical support to staff as required.
- Lead and assist with estimating and risk management as required.
- Supervise and provide coaching, mentoring, and ongoing training and support as needed.
- Align the change management process with established practices
- Having a clear understanding of the project scope, the sequence of tasks, milestones, project related risks, and the critical paths.
- Respond to the client requests and inquiries
- Scan or enter data as required to prepare electronic filling of documents.
- Assist in the implementation and usage of ERP systems
- Supervise team members as assigned

**Education/ Qualifications**
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Technical, or Engineering related discipline.
- General understanding of a project lifecycle including design and construction processes and requirements.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred. Specifically prior exposure to construction, budgets, scheduling, monitoring/reporting and pricing of work.
- Excellent English communication skills required.
- Must be able to work independently and with others.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent time management skills

**Other Requirements**
- G Class Driver’s license with clean driving record (abstract required if hired).
- Must be conversant with OHSA regulations and comply with the site safety plan and rules.
