Patrick Sprack Limited (PSL) was formed in 2006 as a Preventative Maintenance Oriented HVAC company. Since this time, we have become a reputable and leading Northern Ontario HVAC-R contractor to the mines, industrial sites as well as commercial properties.

PSL provides a variety of heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration services ranging from planned maintenance (both preventative and full coverage), inspections and diagnostic services as well as repairs, retrofits and new installations for commercial and industrial mechanical systems. PSL is an ever expanding and diversifying mechanical company. We pride ourselves in our steady customer growth and our mechanical diversity.

We are fully licensed TSSA and ESA registered contractor and have successfully opened a Petroleum division and have considerable experience in orchestrating all phases of any petroleum project. PSL has been rapidly expanding and utilizing our expertise to assist in designing, installing, and maintaining mine air heating and ventilation systems (Fresh Air Raises) as well as bulk propane plants nationally and internationally.

PSL consists of three managing partners who have a combined experience of 75 years in operating and managing mechanical groups. We have approximately 50 employees including over 35 experienced and qualified technicians, 3 managers and several office staff that all contribute to the success of our well rounded, multi-million dollar organization. Our technicians have developed specialized skill sets with the ability to utilize state of the art technology to aid in troubleshooting and keeping equipment operating to its most efficient capacity. We pride ourselves on continuous development of our team members both personally and professionally. Our workforce is skilled in surface and underground mine-site aspects, always keeping safety as the framework of our responsibility.

As an **Operations Support Coordinator** you will have the following responsibilities & duties:
**Operations Coordination**:

- Assist the Electrical Division Manager in the daily operations of the division.
- Coordinate scheduling, resource allocation, and logistics for electrical projects.
- Monitor project timelines, ensuring adherence to schedules and deadlines.
- Communicate with team members, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

**Estimates and Budgeting**:

- Collaborate with the Division Manager to prepare accurate and detailed estimates for electrical projects.
- Assist in developing and maintaining project budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization.
- Track and monitor project expenses, comparing them against budget forecasts.

**Cost Control**:

- Implement and maintain cost control procedures to minimize project overruns.
- Identify and report any discrepancies between projected and actual costs, proposing corrective actions when necessary.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure cost efficiency.

**Administrative Support**:

- Prepare and manage documentation, reports, and correspondence related to electrical projects.
- Assist in the preparation of contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Maintain records of all project activities, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.

**Technical Knowledge**:

- Utilize a solid understanding of electrical systems to support project planning and execution.
- Stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and regulatory requirements relevant to electrical work.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Certification in electrical systems, project management, or related fields is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations coordination, project management, or a related role, preferably within the electrical industry.
- Proven experience with budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.

- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and industry standards.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in project management software, estimating tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
