**TRANSPORTATION ADMINISTATOR (Permanent and Fixed Term Contract Positions)**

**There is a requirement for Transportation Administrator resources located in Timmins and Sudbury.**

The Transportation Administrator will provide support to the camp and transportation team which includes liaising with travelers and advising clients on transportation arrangements. The Administrator will also provide support with records management, report generation, preparing correspondence and general data processing.

**Key Responsibilities**

Area 1:

- Provide administrative support to camp and transportation services.
- Liaise with travelers and advise clients on transportation arrangements.
- Handle routine and straight forward administrative duties such as data entry, filing and preparing communications.
- Prepare presentations, spreadsheets and other materials to aid the department in decision making.
- Respond to client questions and inquiries related to transportation and if needed, escalate requests to the appropriate parties.
- Provide back-up administrative support to other departments and be thoroughly versed in the administrative processes for at least one other position.
- Co-ordinate with other admin support staff to ensure commonality of systems and administrative work practices.
- May order office supplies and maintain inventory levels.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to support administration efficiencies.

Area 2:
Provide exceptional customer support.
- Act as an ambassador for Cote Gold, including greeting travelers and handling basic inquiries.
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and ability to respond to multiple and often competing priorities.
- Prepare, book, follow-up and verify employee travel arrangements.
- Other duties as required.

Area 3:
Work collaboratively with others to deliver operational reliability.
- Seek opportunities to improve transportation services.
- Commit to continuous learning and improvement.
- Continually seek to improve your skills as a Transportation Administrator.
- Work collaboratively to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Mentor and train new team members.

- Ensure any deficiencies are communicated to the appropriate team members for follow up.

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.

Work experience - Nature & Length
- A minimum of 2 years of related work experience

- Computer literate and proficient in word processing, data entry, spreadsheets and PC based presentation graphics.
- Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
- Proven ability to balance several tasks simultaneously and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work with others in a team environment.
- Flexibility to undertake a variety of assignments.
- Pleasant and courteous in interpersonal interactions.
- Knowledge of basic office functions, i.e., office machines, telephone systems, copier, fax, binding machines.
- Fluency in English; French would be an asset.
- Highly motivated and independently driven with a sense of urgency.
