**Job Summary**
Our Innovation team is looking for a Project Coordinator to join their growing department. Developing and launching new products for our customers is at the heart of what we do, and you will be part of the team making it happen. The successful individual will be responsible for coordinating activities related to the day-to-day activities of new product development projects and supporting Innovation Managers with longer-term initiatives to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
**Principal Responsibilities**
Coordinating cross-functional teams comprised of staff from Product Design, Marketing, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, Product Management, Finance and Customer Insight & Ideation teams on each active project assigned by the Innovation Manager.
- Coordinate, execute and monitor all project related tasks as outlined in the project plan, updating the schedule as required and ensuring critical path items are known
- Communicate with cross-functional team often, ensuring assigned project tasks are clear and resourced appropriately. Report any discrepancies to the project leader’s attention so action can be taken.
- Support Innovation project leaders with administrative functions; meeting coordination and minutes, file & data storage, and project dashboards
- Gathers and summarizes business and financial data in a useful manner for planning and decision-making
- Coordinate Post-Launch review activities for recently launched projects gathering inputs from team members, facilitating meetings and preparing post-launch deliverables
**Requirements**:
**Qualifications & Experience**
- Possesses strong communication and diplomacy skills, collaborates with other departments and with external suppliers
- Strong time management skills, organized, must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong sense of personal accountability; takes initiative and ownership of tasks and projects; works well in a team and independently
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products such as Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word and Microsoft teams.
- Good understanding of project management fundamentals
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- 0-3 years working in a project management/coordination capacity
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
- Excellent command of the English language - Bilingual in French & English is an asset.
- A University degree or College diploma (required)
- Project Management training as part of a degree/diploma or adult learning course is an asset
- Completion of, or working towards PMP certification is an asset
