The Position:
The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the operational success of the firm by providing comprehensive internal administrative support. This position involves coordinating, planning, and executing a variety of internal and external initiatives that support the firm's objectives, client engagements, and team activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support both Consulting and Advisory work in an administrative capacity
- Support the development and finalization of client deliverables (PowerPoint, Excel)
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating client related activities and services
- Provide project management support in the delivery of client engagements
- Conduct research and synthesize findings as required to inform client work or internal business initiatives
- Support business development initiatives and client pursuits through assisting in preparing RFPs and responding to business development opportunities
- Plan and coordinate elements of client projects and advisory retainers to ensure timely delivery of client materials and deliverables
- Coordinate and support internal and external marketing initiatives
- Contribute to the development of sales materials, presentations, and marketing collateral to support client acquisition and retention efforts.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Maintain organized records and manage project documentation to enable effective knowledge sharing.
- Effective management of the internal document filing system.
Education, Experience, Skills and Competencies
- Completion of post-secondary education, ideally with studies focused in business
- Previous project management experience is an asset
- Minimum of 3 years in a consulting support role
- Experience in a management consulting environment is preferred
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products (specifically PowerPoint, Excel, Word) with advanced formatting and design skills
- Experience with project management tools and client relationship management software and platforms
- Working knowledge on using and leveraging AI technology
- A team-first mindset with a willingness to support colleagues across various functions.
- Strong research skills and ability to synthesize information into meaningful insights
- Strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high quality work
- Proactive with an ability to organize and coordinate diverse and multiple work assignments
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to solve problems
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to take initiative and to show ownership of assignment tasks and assignments
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to handle diverse challenges.
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
