**We are hiring for Restaurant Supervisor, Wildlight Kitchen + Bar at our location in Vancouver, BC**
**You will be responsible for**:
- Leading a team while managing team member relations including recruitment, training, coaching and mentoring.
- Ensuing the daily upkeep of the restaurant, equipment and cleanliness of all food and beverage outlets.
- Implementing effective control of food, beverage and labour costs.
- Monitoring and assessing service and satisfaction trends, evaluating and addressing issues and making improvements accordingly.
- Assisting the General Manager, Wildlight Kitchen + Bar in analyzing, interpreting, and acting on daily, monthly and annual financial reporting.
- Submitting all required operational, financial, budgetary, and related reports in a timely manner.
- Assisting in the development of menus for promotional and/or special events.
- Maintaining effective communication, giving direction, support, timely feedback, and recognition of performance.
- Fostering a positive environment that is focused on always customer first service in which all team members have the ability to maximize their potential.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with team members, guests, local community members, and vendors.
**You have**:
- Minimum 1-2 years of food and beverage management experience.
- Extensive experience in restaurants, bar, and management.
- Minimum 2 years of Kitchen Management experience in a Kitchen Manager or Executive Chef role with knowledge of most international and domestic dishes.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and react to changes in volume and revenues.
- Knowledge and experience with forecasting, budgeting, labor management, and purchasing.
- Ability to analyze, forecast data, and manage proper payroll and production control.
- Food Safe Certification.
- Serving it Right Certification.
- Red Seal Certificate is considered an asset.
