Quality Coordinator, Special Inspection

Copeland Canada has an immediate opening for an entry level Special Inspection and Quality Coordinator. In this position, you would be responsible for supporting the perfect execution team by being a liaison between the sales and operations departments for the Copeland Canada business.
**Major Areas of Accountability**
**Warranty & Special Inspections**
- Complete all warranty claims and credits accurately and in a timely manner.
- Issue all special inspection tags and ensure proper process steps are completed and recorded.
- Complete all preliminary inspection testing and work with the Technical team to issue customer inspection reports.
**Quality Shipping Assurance**
- Providing a double check that all large freight shipments meet the Copeland quality standard for packaging.
- Ensuring Copeland Quality Shipping Assurance stamp, sticker or tape is present.
- Make sure that all packaging and shipping labels be clear, concise and mirror what the packing list indicates.
- Working closely with the communicator / account manager to ensure that order are shipped as per the requested freight company.
- Ensuring that all sample product for customer testing is labeled properly and shipped as instructed.
- Supporting and assisting the shipment of rush / breakdown orders as required.
- Providing timely information on weights and dimensions for those customers who pick-up.
- Supporting the communicator team when shipping information / documents are required.
**RMA’s and Freight Claims**
- Support the RMA process for ‘Bad’ or damaged product, handle quarantine and disposal as needed.
- Facilitate and submit all required freight claims.
**Participate in Cycle Counting**
- Doing cycle counts through coordination with cycle count coordinator.
**Others Duties as directed by**:
- Managing product returns with suppliers, containment, inventory adjustments, supplier corrective actions and communications.
- Performing incoming inspection for products as required.
- Managing internal audits, tracking, reporting and communications.
- Providing quality and technical support as required.
- Managing supplier audits, supplier service levels and support improvements.
**Basic Requirements/Knowledge/Skills/Experience**:
- 1-2 years of sales/operations experience
- College Diploma with a sales/operations background (or equivalent)
- Strength/comfort with Salesforce and DOMO
- Willingness to learn
- Strong communication skills
- Authorization to work in Canada now and in the future without sponsorship
**Preferred Requirements/Knowledge/Skills/Experience**
- Forklift license is preferred
- Experience with Oracle is preferred
