Mitsui High-tec (Canada), Inc. is a newer manufacturing facility in Brantford and we require Quality Technicians to join our team There is huge potential for future growth due to our state of the art technology in the ever growing ecofriendly vehicles market.

Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, the Quality Technician will be responsible for providing valuable quality support by ensuring the products meet all standards of presentation and quality.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Perform visual inspections, mechanical, and functional verification of parts to ensure compliance to set specification and quality standards
- Competent with use of micrometers, verniers, height gauges, CMM, and Optical test equipment
- Study product specifications and work instructions
- Follow nonconforming part procedure to identify & isolate defective material
- Support internal/external audit processes, as required
- Support cross functional problem solving activities, as required
- Ability to read and understand blue prints/inspection plans
- Support PFMEA and APQP activities, as required
- Support PPAP activities, as required
- Helps to ensure the safety of the workforce
- Identify problem areas, recommend, coordinate, and implement solutions
- Collaborates with other departments to maintain the quality system

**Qualifications**:

- College diploma or 1 year manufacturing or Quality work experience
- Solid understanding of GD&T is considered an asset
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize and multi-task
- Demonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to take initiative and recognize needs
- Superior attention to detail in all areas of work
