**Payroll Duties**
- Performing all payroll functions including:

- Processing payroll including related government remittances
- Posting Payroll
- Supporting payroll activities to ensure all data files are complete
- Investigating and resolving payroll issues
- Creating and running reports for review and reporting purposes
- Preparing and reconciling annual T4’s and related government reports as needed
- Administration of the benefit & Pension programs
- Preparing new documentation related to employee transfers, moves and promotions
- Performing HR related activities as assigned including annual reviews, WSIB claims, time off, and progressive discipline
- Work closely with Manager on reconciliation of Payroll & Benefits-related GL accounts, reporting and audits
- Supports all internal and external audit requirements
- Assists with year-end balancing and reporting

**Accounting Duties**
- Accounts Receivable
- Other accounting duties and Other special tasks as assigned required.

**Qualifications**
- Experience with at least one corporate payroll system (ADP or similar)
- Experience with Ontario employment legislation
- Experience with hourly, salaried, term and contract personnel
- Ability to use discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential information
- Strong computer skills with MS- Office
- Detail oriented and ability to work to tight timelines
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Team Player
- Ability to work flexible hours when required to ensure timely response

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $36,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
