EMPLOYER: City View Centre for Child and Family Services JOB DESCRIPTION: POSTING DATE June 3, 2024 CLASSIFICATION Permanent (full-time) DEPARTMENT Finance QUALIFICATIONS Successful completion of the first year of formal accounting education from a recognized educational institution. A minimum of two (2) years experience in an accounts receivable/general accounting role in a computerized accounting environment. General knowledge of generally accepted accounting procedures, bookkeeping or accounting is required. Basic knowledge of accounting and auditing standards for not-for-profit organizations. Proficient with Windows-based computer systems, Sage 50 Accounting software and Microsoft Office. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English. Self-directed and detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills. Current Standard First Aid and CPR certification Police record check SKILLS, ABILITY AND EXPERIENCE Experience working in the accounts receivable and/or payroll department for a not-for-profit, social service agency.
