About us:
Located along the stunning shores of the Niagara River, The Waterfront Restaurant located at the Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club (North Americas oldest golf course) offers a unique blend of history, charm, and exceptional service. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dining Room Manager to join our team and oversee the daily operations of our restaurant and member services.

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- Staffing & Scheduling: Recruit, train, and manage dining room and patio staff; create and maintain weekly schedules to ensure optimal coverage and service standards.
- Liquor Ordering: Manage beverage inventory, place liquor orders, and ensure compliance with all AGCO regulations.
- Event Bookings: Coordinate and execute private events, banquets, and golf tournaments; liaise with guests to deliver exceptional experiences.
- Dining Room and Patio: Oversee daily dining room and Patio service, ensuring prompt, friendly, and professional service; maintain a clean, welcoming atmosphere.
- Membership Services: Build relationships with members, address inquiries and concerns, and enhance the overall member experience.
- Financial Management: Monitor and control labor and beverage costs, ensuring profitability while maintaining high standards of service.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of liquor ordering, inventory control, and event coordination.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Smart Serve certification
