**Position**

The Front of House (FOH) Supervisor / Floor Manager plays a key leadership role in ensuring smooth daily operations of the dining room and guest-facing areas. This individual is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, supporting and motivating FOH staff, and maintaining a professional and efficient service environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, supervise, and support the FOH team during service, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and bussers.
- Act as the point person on the floor, ensuring guest satisfaction and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Oversee daily opening and closing procedures, including staff check-ins, section assignments, and end-of-day reports.
- Monitor and uphold service standards, cleanliness, and presentation across the dining room and bar areas.
- Assist in training, onboarding, and coaching of new FOH team members.
- Manage guest flow, table turns, and reservations to maximize seating and revenue.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests with professionalism and urgency.
- Collaborate with the BOH (Back of House) team to ensure efficient communication and service delivery.
- Assist with inventory, ordering of FOH supplies, and maintenance of POS systems and floor plans.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
- Support the management team with administrative tasks as needed (e.g., scheduling, shift reporting).

**Requirements**:

- 2+ years of experience in a supervisory FOH role in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Knowledge of service standards, food and beverage operations, and POS systems.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Smart Serve or equivalent alcohol service certification.
- First Aid/CPR certification (preferred but not required).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- supervisory front-of-house: 2 years (required)
