Sturgeon Public School Division is currently seeking one qualified full-time **Educational Assistant 2**, for a work assignment at our Camilla School.

Camilla School moved into its new building in 2022 and is located 15 minutes northwest of the City of St. Albert in the Hamlet of Riviere Qui Barre. Camilla School includes diverse programming from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 9 with 500 students and 50 staff. Camilla School has a strong culture of educational excellence and support for students with diverse learning needs.

**FTE**:1.0 FTE; 6.5 hrs/day; Full-Time Temporary

**Initial Assignment**:Under the direction of the classroom teacher, the Educational Assistant will work in a Pre-Kindergarten classroom to support students with complex social, emotional and behavioral skills.

**Qualifications & Experience**:Educational Assistant or Early Childhood Diploma or Certificate is required; experience working with Autistic children is an asset; CPR and First Aid are desirable. Preference given to applicants with experience and training with Autism, Behaviors and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training. Equivalencies that consist of a combination of education, knowledge, skills, and abilities to formal education requirements may be considered.

**Hourly Rate**:$18.82 - $23.57 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.

Pay: $18.82-$23.57 per hour

Expected hours: 32.5 per week
