Sturgeon County, Canada Sturgeon School Division Full time

Sturgeon Public School Division is currently seeking one qualified full-time **Educational Assistant 2**, for a work assignment at Sturgeon Composite High School.

**Hours**: 1.0 FTE; Full-Time Temporary working 6.5 hrs/day

**Initial Assignment**:Under the direction of the classroom teacher, the Educational Assistant needs to be fluent in technology and computer skills. Great interpersonal skills and ability to motivate others is required.

**Qualifications & Experience**:Teacher's Aid Certificate/Diploma; CPR and First Aid along with Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training is preferred. Experience working with high school aged students with behavioral needs is advantageous. Behavior management courses would be an asset. Equivalencies that consist of a combination of education, knowledge, skills and abilities to formal education requirements may be considered.

**Hourly Rate**: $18.82 - $23.57 per hour, as per the CUPE Collective Agreement.

Pay: $18.82-$23.57 per hour

Expected hours: 32.5 per week
