**Position Title**:Human Rights, Equity, Inclusion and Anti-Racism (HREIA) Student Training Facilitator

**Status**: Full-Time Administration

**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week

**Faculty/Department**: The Centre for Human Rights, Equity, and Inclusion

**Campus/Location**: All including in-person, hybrid/remote working as necessary.

**Salary**: Min $64,084 to Max $75,000

**What you will do**:
The Training Facilitator, Human Rights, Equity, Inclusion & Anti-Racism (HREIA) is an integral member of the Centre for Human Rights, Equity, and Inclusion training team. Under the supervision of the Manager, Education and Training and with a dotted line to the Dean of Student, the Student Training Facilitator works collaboratively with stakeholders across the College to provide Human Rights, equity, inclusion and anti-racism education through in-class presentations/workshops to students across the College. The Student Training Facilitator also supports the administrative functions of the training team and assists the manager in the delivery of Human Rights trainings.

**Major Duties**

**Development and delivery of student training**
- Develop and deliver student centered human rights, equity and anti-racism related virtual and in-person education and training
- Analyze and revise current student education and training programs in relation to policies, practices, and services to ensure compliance with current learnings and legislations
- Design and facilitate student training sessions on foundational knowledge, understanding, values and skills on equity, social justice, 2SLGBTQI inclusion, and allyship/accompliceship practices; content including addressing common types of interpersonal aggressions such as racial aggressions that Indigenous peoples, Black/African peoples, and intersectional aggressions that members of marginalized and minoritized groups experience on campus and in the virtual environment
- Effectively engage student resistance to infuse equity and inclusion in daily practices, and decision making; effectively gain feedback, formal and informal, to inform the centre on future needs for HREIA student training and workshops
- Assist with other training delivery for the centre as a co-facilitator as necessary

**Develop and launch online training modules**
- Identify and develop resources that help students interrupt racism, sexism, cissexism, homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, ableism, fatphobia and so on as they happen
- Use an equity and inclusion approach/framework that centre reducing harm and prioritizing community care to analyze and use data to develop resources that help students build a safer school culture, climate, and services to enhance student’s sense of belonging.
- Find and disseminate student resources that help share a compelling vision for greater equity and inclusion throughout the College.
- Design sessions that help racialized and otherized students develop strategies to effectively navigate oppressive systems as they work to transform them

**Support the administrative functions of the education and training program**
- Maintain and update participants’ attendance and training completion statistics and prepare reports of the same, as needed
- Assist the manager to develop annual reports and other communications, as needed, to support training team initiatives
- Verify online training information is accurate and up to date
- Ensure all administrative functions for hosting external presenters is fully operational
- Manage training Outlook calendars, Eventbrite page and so on
- Other related administrative duties as assigned
