**What you bring to the role**:
- Successful completion of a post secondary degree program in Media Design, Information and Learning Technologies or related disciplines
- Adult Education certificate or training (e.g. CTDP) including knowledge of digital teaching and training principles
- Experienced in instructional design, program development, and evaluation required
- Experience with storyboarding and media design technology including Vyond, Camtasia, Articulate 360 Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
- Knowledge of SCORM compliant content for eLearning and mobile learning, and be familiar with gamification trends within a professional environment.
- A proactive approach to learning new technologies, teach/train others in the selection and use of various tools and technologies
- Ability to identify, review and recommend digital learning resources to include in eLearning initiatives.
- Excellent oral, written communication and facilitation skills including presentations, report writing, developing, designing and facilitating training.
- Strong attention to detail when creating and reviewing content
- Demonstrated ability to work productively and successfully with diverse people and groups
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work proactively with limited direction
- Demonstrated good attendance and performance record with the ability to maintain this same standard
- Demonstrated commitment to a healthy and safe workplace for self and others (staff, patients, families, etc.) by taking all reasonable precautions and working in compliance with hospital related policies, health and safety legislation and best practices and completing relevant mandatory education as required
