**Overview**

The Human Resource Manager will act as a trusted advisor to senior management on all HR-related matters. This role requires a dynamic leader who is passionate about people, can foster a positive and inclusive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Oversee all aspects of the human resources function including recruitment, onboarding, training performance management and employee relations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on all HR-related matters.
- Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring the attraction and retention of top talent.
- Develop and implement effective onboarding programs to integrate new employees.
- Monitor and enhance employee retention strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.
- Manage employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
- Develop and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Identify training needs and develop comprehensive training programs.
- Promote continuous learning and development opportunities for employees.
- Oversee leadership development initiatives and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate HR records and prepare required reports.
- Drive organizational change initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience in progressive Human Resource roles.
- Payroll accreditation.
- Previous experience with Temporary Foreign Workers Program (LMIA) is considered as an asset
- Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation considered an asset.

**Additional Skills**
- Thorough knowledge of employment legislation, as well as trends and challenges related to HR.
- Strong people management skills with ability to build, coach and engage a high-performing team
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills

**Working Conditions**
- Some travel may be required.

Pay: $80,000.00-$115,000.00 per year
