**Description**:
Parkland County has a permanent, part-time position available in the Employee Services Department for a Human Resources Administrator. Reporting to the Director, Employee Services, the Human Resources Administrator assists the Employee Services team by providing a wide range of administrative support services, including processing invoices, ordering supplies, drafting and proofing correspondence, updating spreadsheets, coordinating meetings and supporting departmental projects or initiatives. The Human Resources Administrator is the department records management lead and is responsible for creating and maintaining electronic and paper employee personnel, payroll and other departmental records. During peak periods, this position will also provide support to the Human Resources Coordinator with administrative tasks within the recruitment and onboarding function.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- High School Diploma supplemented with post-secondary coursework in human resources, business administration or a related discipline.
- Advanced computer proficiency including Adobe, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneNote).
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills along with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with human resources applicable legislation including Employment Standards, Human Rights and FOIP.
- Previous experience assisting with or coordinating training or corporate events.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License. Upon hire, a current Driver’s Abstract must be provided.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Rate of Pay: $24.52 - $30.65 per hour

Hours of Work: Average of 17.5 hours per week

Benefits: Extensive benefits are offered including extended health and dental through blue cross and pension through Local Authorities Pension Plan.
